From the day she learned to read, Allie thought about how amazing it would be to read all day and all night (and that pretty much sums up her adolescence). You can imagine her excitement when she learned about the editing and publishing industry and decided to turn her love for words and reading into a career. She earned a BA in Professional Writing (editing and publishing focus) from Michigan State University, and has spent the last few years of her career working as an editor and writer. Allie specializes in fiction, namely romance, erotica, and thriller, but she gives love to other genres/subjects as well. When she’s not working, Allie enjoys spending time with her husband and two cats or curled up with a book and a cup of hot cocoa or coffee.

Barbara’s love of words has encompassed being the child reading under the covers with a flashlight long after bedtime, through being the teenager “dusting” the house with a dust rag in one hand and a book in the other, to the joy of finding a new book . . . and then discovering it is a 20+ series. Nothing quite breaks her concentration on a good read like errors in spelling, punctuation, grammar, or consistency. Barbara loves to polish those up for authors to let their words shine clearly!
